Abstract

Basic multiplication facts are a foundational piece of any math classroom. By the 4th grade, students are expected to be fluent with them. However, this does not happen for all students. The purpose of this study was to implement the Ascend Math technology in a 4th grade classroom to measure the impact the program had on basic multiplication fact fluency. The researcher analyzed student results to determine the impact of the Ascend Math program.
