Today’s teachers and students have been faced with many obstacles during the past two school years because of COVID-19. Many teachers have found that student performance at all levels have been significantly low while experiencing hybrid and virtual learning during the 2020-2021 school year. The amount of missing assignments are at an all-time high as well as the number of failing grades. This research project compares grades from tests, quizzes, and assignments from traditional in-person learning, hybrid learning, and virtual learning. The researcher will attempt to discover the key elements or factors that students need to succeed while experiencing hybrid and virtual learning at home. What can teachers do to help students excel while they are experiencing hybrid and virtual learning?
