Abstract

The curriculum is considered to be an important framework that provides the direction for the provision of quality, comprehensive, and up-to-date education. Researchers have found a positive correlation between the curriculum used in education and the society. The curriculum indicates the society’s economic, political, and technological reality. Educators emphasis that the curriculum should be a dynamic methodology that changes to reflect the changes and dynamism of the country. Given the importance of education to the social and economic well-being of the nation and the individual, it is critical that the curriculum is developed and implemented correctly. Different stakeholders play different roles in the process of curriculum implementation. This research study aims to investigate the role of principals in the process of curriculum implementation. The study will specifically focus on the role of high school principals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the process of curriculum implementation.
