The SSU Board of Trustees established a Trustees’ Award as part of the Shawnee State University Celebration of Scholarship. The award is for outstanding research that is investigative, project – based, inquiry- based, open- minded, and/or exploratory. The winner of this award receives a scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00.

As former Board Chair, Dan Mooney stated, “As trustees, we are extremely proud of the students who participate and present their work – and the faculty mentors who help make it all possible.
