Abstract

This presentation will be an introduction to a senior research project that asks if music can improve student learning outcomes and overall class engagement. This presentation will focus on the literature surrounding the use of music in a general education classroom and its potential benefits. Though the study has not yet been concluded, I will share what has been found thus far and instructional strategies that will be used moving forward in the study.
