Abstract

A senior, education related capstone research project that analyzes the self-reported and content knowledge effects that implementing guided notes has on student performance. Students were taught a series of classroom units with varied styles of taking notes and given content quizzes to see if the different styles of notes had an effect on students' content retention. Scores from each unit were collected and translated into graphs in order to compare the content knowledge retention from each unit.
